Tuesday HW

Monday HW
Math Quiz on Unit 2 Lessons 1 to 4.  Study the connect sections and Quick Review for each chapter.  Do a sample question or two from each lesson to sharpen up.  Today's mini quiz focused on the format of Order of Operations questions.  I stress circling each step and stacking equals signs for clarity and organization.  News Journal Summary and Reflection -- students had 25 minutes to complete it in class today.  Diversity Projects are being presented starting today, after a 35 minute practice period.  I want the students to be able to speak to the class expressively and confidently about:
  • their animal research (the "Who Am I?" section),
  • the map, and
  • some of the relatives of the animal as shown on their classification charts.
  • I will let students read the Dear World letter without memorizing it.
I will mark the other sections independently of the presentation -- only the bold sections shown above need to be presented.  (Calendar and Newsletter are still being prepared.  Sorry for the delay.)
