Week of January 6-10, 2020

Happy New Year!

Thursday HW
6A Notes:  This is homework for the grade 6 class I teach.
1.  20 minutes of reading.
2.  Vocabulary on comprehension quiz on Week Three of "Holes" on Monday, January 13.
3.  Terry Fox incentive (long delayed) on Friday afternoon January 10, periods 4 and 5.  Personal electronics including phones or board games are welcome.  Students should not bring items that they are fearful of losing.
4.  Mean, Median and Mode practice sheet 1.0.
5.  From Mr. Wright:  "Please bring a bag to school in order for you to bring home your Remembrance Day stained glass art from your visual arts class."

b)  Vocabulary on comprehension quiz on Week three of "The Giver" on Monday, January 13. The week two schedule is posted on the Google Classroom.
c)  To meet "The Giver" - Week 3 due dates some reading and writing has to be done at home, especially when we miss a day in class on Day 2 (which is tomorrow).  Although I provide generous amounts of class time to read and write, it cannot all be done in that time.
