Week of January 27 - 31, 2014.

Friday HW
1.  Today I handed out a test pack containing some language and math assessments, as well as Science and Social Studies unit marks.  Please review and correct where possible.  Have a parent sign the top page.  Return the package next Friday.

Wednesday HW
1.  Unit 4 Test on Decimals tomorrow.  I checked to ensure that students had the MMS duo-tangs in their bags to study tonight.
2.  Friday is pajama day.

Tuesday HW
1.  Unit 4 Unit test in Math on Decimals is this Thursday, January 30 during periods one and two.  Please do your best to arrive on time for class that day.
2.  Find out some things on the internet about the Scientific Improvement you chose today in Science.  This will complement the computer we had in class today and will have in the coming days.  At a point in the research process the computers will be withdrawn and passed on, so please ensure you are ready for that moment by doing some web surfing tonight.
3.  MMS pages 76-77.  New duo-tangs we passed out today.  Students should hang on to the previous ones until Thursday's test is done.
4.  Friday is pajama day!

We started a cycle of Science experiments and short reports today.  Parents who want to know the specifics should take a look at the back of the Human Body booklet for the specific outlines, starting on page 15.  The procedures are in the text books we use and generally have photos to illustrate some steps.
