Week of December 15 -19, 2014

Wednesday HW
1.  Math Data Management quiz on unit 5, Lessons 1 to 3 on Friday, December 19.
2.  MMS HW book lesson 5.3.  We checked 5.2 in class today and nine students were not ready with it out of 23 who were checked.  We are spending considerable time in class introducing the vocabulary and methods for success on the quizzes.
3.  Food and Toy Drive items.  Thank you for your generosity.
4.  Class party on Thursday afternoon in concert with Mr. Beach's class. Please discuss with your child what he/she feels comfortable contributing, if at all.
5.  Friday afternoon will be a "Catch-up and Relish" session for the 2 afternoon periods.  Students must submit the Human Organ Systems booklet for evaluation that day or use the catch-up to do so.  If they are done there is some relish time and I have told students they can bring an electronic item for that time if they wish.  It isn't my intention to deny students 'free time', but if they need the two periods to finish up, that is what may happen.  It is will be good to clear the deck before the 2 week break without anything hanging around to finish.  other than book report reading I will not assign any holiday work.
