Today we contnued Novel Study activities and started day 3 activities for our Guided Reading red group. We also worked on place value of decimals using base 10 blocks. Our gym period was cancelled due to concert rehearsals. 12 students individually used computer resources in the afternoon to take organizer notes. Be sure to check with your child to see if the organizers are lost or are not being filled in. At least 2 of the four sides could be done by this point. I hear many times about organizer work that is 'at home' and unavailable for checking. These pages should be at school daily if I am to help students stay on track.
